Google Scholar provides a simple way to broadly search for scholarly literature. From one place, you can search across many disciplines and sources: articles, theses, books, abstracts and court opinions, from academic publishers, professional societies, online repositories, universities and other web sites. Google Scholar helps you find relevant work across the world of scholarly research.

Pro Tip: Use 'site:' to limit your keyword queries to specific (top-level) domains on Google Scholar. If you want to exclude domains, use the '-site:' operator. For example: -site:yale.edu or -site:gov.

CAUTION: Changing the settings (particularly language) will change search results - sometimes in unexpected ways: limiting to English content increases results.
